Aipom could feel his tail rake across the canine's muzzle, but before it could pull away, he could feel the Growlithe's teeth sink into his tail, and he let out a loud screech as it did so. Angered, the Pokemon jerked its tail free from the female's mouth, a couple drops of blood splattering the ground from the fresh wound. He hoped it wasn't rabid or anything. The monkey gave a loud, angry screech before flailing his tail at the Growlithe in a Tail Whip, hoping to lower its defense enough before it tried to attack again. Now he no longer was battling for fun, but out of anger; his tail was his pride and joy, and with it hurt, it would be hard for him to swing through the trees, or, more importantly, impress the ladies with his mad skills.

While the tail didn't really damage her much, it was annoying her. Rather upset with pain and annoyance, Shira drew in a breath, her bleeding mug adding a certain oomph to the attempted intimidating look on her face. Within a second or two she snapped, allowing her voice to Roar across the land. GET LOST, JERK!
Well, even if the sheer volume (lol shampoo) didn't make the critter run in fear, she figured out by now that her master would probably wish for her to Bite it again while it was stunned, therefore, prepared to do so if necessary.

Taken by surprise by the Pokemon's anger and Roar, the Pokemon stumbled backwards, landing rather painfully on its tail. It let out a cry before jumping back up and scrambling up a tree, swinging carefully from branch to branch, only pausing to hang upside-down and make a face at the Growlithe before swinging around onto the branch, jumping to another one, then rocketing off again, away from the group.
Congrats! You defeated Aipom!
Shira gain experience from the battle! Shira grew to level 6! Shira learned Ember!

"Great work." Geof grinned, bending down to lightly scratch the Growlithe behind the ears affectionately as it came back to him. That's what they did on TV, right? The Pokemon became better if they trusted the human. So, that's what he'd do.
Glancing back, he noticed his butler was still rather steamed, as was his Pokemon. He blinked. "Er..." Before he could say anything else, Jeeves dismissed himself with a brief "Excuse me" and ran off into the woods, leaving the puzzled boy and his dog alone.
Bates sighed. "Idiot. Ah well. Let's take a break, shall we? I'm kinda tired of walking, and there's sand in my nose." The boy returned his Growlithe to her Pokeball and slumped down slightly off the path, looking out into the dark forest looming ahead. "Hm..."

"Circe! Wait for me!" Lenora stumbled forward, trying to catch up with her hyper Pokemon. It didn't take the grass type long to wake up, and when she did, it somehow managed itself out of its Poke Ball, and was now bouncing ahead of her trainer, ignoring her pleas to slow down or stop. This was the little Cherubi's first time out of the lab, and she was intent on exploring every nook and cranny of the world that she could. The Pokemon dubbed "Circe" finally did stop when she came across something, or rather someone: a blonde-haired boy on the side of the path. Giving a small cry, she bounced forward towards him, stopping directly in front of the boy and hopping happily in place. Lenora skidded to a stop a few feet away from the person Circe had found, and stood there, wondering if she should walk up and grab her Pokemon or not. If she did, most likely the boy would try striking up a conversation, and conversation wasn't something Lenora was good at at all. She remained standing there, fiddling with the sleeves of her turtleneck, still debating on what to do while staring at her bouncy Cherubi.

As it would so happen, Geoffrey had long fallen asleep in the noonday sun, and was propped up on a tree with his eyes shut when the grass type bounded over. However, after a few minutes, he began to stir slightly.
"Zzz...Nhm....Whuzza...?" He stretched up against the tree and looked over, dazed, at the Cherubi for a moment. "Hurrow.." He yawned and rubbed his eyes, allowing his senses to return before actually taking notice of the Cherubi. Surprise, he scooted away slightly, and began messing around with the Pokeballs on his belt.
"GACK!.. Go, Shira?" He half asked, surprised the wild Pokemon didn't attack yet, scrambling to his feet. As the Growlithe was released from it's Pokeball, the puppy yawned and scrambled into an offensive position, ready to battle.

Oh, well that obviously wasn't good. Lenora stared at the Puppy Pokemon that had been released, realizing her grass-type Circe had a disadvantage to the fire-type Growlithe. Apparently, the boy was a trainer, and must've thought that Circe was a wild Pokemon. She quickly scrambled forward, wanting to sort out this misunderstanding before it was too late. However, Circe had other plans. Seeing the Growlithe's offensive stance, she immediately stopped bouncing and glared it down, eyes fiery with determination. If it wanted a battle, that's what she would give it. The Pokemon bounced forwards, charging at the canine in a Tackle, ignoring her Trainer's shouts to stop.

"Shira, roll aside and follow up with Ember." He smirked, knowing the type advantage had here. He wasn't sure if, having just learned it (well, as the Pokedex said) if it would be potent enough to defeat the grass type, but it was worth a shot.
The Growlithe did as told, barrel rolling to the side before the Cherubi's attack could connect, just barely avoiding it by a few inches. As she was told, the fire type took in a deep breath and shot a round of small flames at the fruit-like Pokemon, quickly forcing herself back on her feet while the "wild" Pokemon reacted to the attack.
.... Of course, there was no attention given to the shouting girl a short distance away- what did she matter?

Since the Pokemon's attack did not connect, she couldn't stick the landing, and stumbled forward, unable to regain her footing in time to dodge the embers. Although she managed to (luckily) avoid most of them, she was still hit by enough of them to do some serious damage. Slowly and carefully, the Pokemon pushed itself up (with great difficulty since it had no arms) and readied itself for another tackle, but it didn't get the chance, since Lenora had finally caught up, and quickly scooped her Pokemon back into her arms before the battle could continue. "Circe! Don't ever do that again!" she scolded, before turning to the boy and giving him a rare glare. "And you! Didn't you hear me say 'stop'?"

Geoffrey, in all honesty, had been focused enough on the battle to tune most other factors out, had been unaware of the fact that this Pokemon may have had a trainer. Though it wasn't like that was going to make him admit it. So, he kept a bit of a poker face towards the girl as he turned to reply. "Maybe, but that dosen't mean I'm going to care." He replied in a bit of a haughty tone, sticking his tongue out slightly as he did so.
Glancing down at Shira, he made a motion for her to follow him, deciding they had no more buisness with this girl who had ended the battle. Pity, the thing was feisty. It would have made a good addition to his hare-- er, team.

"Oh, that's very mature," Lenora said sarcastically, still glaring at the boy. When he left, she gently set Circe on the the ground and dug the potion the professor had given her out of her bag. The Pokemon was no longer in the mood to bounce around anymore. "Have you learned your lesson yet? Next time, don't run off like that! And don't go picking fights!" The Cherubi just stared at the ground like a child caught stealing a cookie from the cookie jar and was receiving a scolding for it. Lenora signed and sprayed a bit of the potion onto the Pokemon's wounds, causing the grass type to jump back and let out a cry. "I know it hurts," she said, gently stroking her Pokemon on its larger head again, "but it'll help you get better. Plus, you brought this upon yourself." Circe didn't jump back or cry out anymore as her Trainer continued spraying her with the medicine, but she did flinch a bit. After she was through, Lenora shook the container to see about how much was left. Judging by the sloshing, she figured she had used up about half of it on her Cherubi. "Now let's get going," the blonde said, standing up. Circe immediately bounced its way to the top of her head, where it settled down. Her Trainer sighed again, but shrugged. This was better than having to run after her. Looking ahead, she realized that there was only one road to take to keep going, and, unfortunately for her, that boy was walking down it as well. Not wanting to have to stay out here until dark, Lenora gripped the straps of her pack and walked forward, staying several feet behind the other person and trying her best to ignore him.
