First thing: All money exchanges are made by staff. We regulate the currency to ensure that everyone's Rays (moniez) are safe. Do not ever buy or sell something to someone unless a staff gives the okay. If anyone asks that you not wait for staff and just go ahead and buy/sell, report them so we can kick their ass.
With that out of the way, here's how this will go down...
One member, Bob, owns a shop. Another member, Joe, wants to buy an avatar from Bob. Bob asks, "Hey Joe, what do you want your avatar to look like?" and Joe replies, "I'd like it to have a poke ball theme."
So Bob goes off and makes Joe his avatar and then, on the thread, says it is done and posts it.
NOTE: The sell has not been made. If Joe takes and uses the avatar now, he'll get banned for theft.
At this point, Bob and Joe negotiate a price. After they settle on it, Bob will say, "Avatar for $600" and then notify a G-mod or the Admin to come and see this. From here, the staff member will take $600 from Joe and give it to Bob. Once this is done, the Staff will verify that it was done and Joe can now use the avatar.
If any one else uses the avatar, they get banned for theft.
When buying an In Character item, like a poke Ball or Antidote, you will need to post on the thread with your item saying how many of what you would like and for what character(s). Example:
"I would like to buy three poke balls Noah and one great ball for Dustin."
Then a staff member will go in, get your money, and give you your item. WHEN THIS HAPPENS, that item you bought for your character is now automatically with your character in the role play. It got sent via Wingull mail or whatever you wanna say, but either way, your character gets it as soon as staff makes the deal.
After all this, the staff will record the sell. Why? In case any dispute arises, there will be a record for proof. You cannot lie to get stuff or Rays. You. Will. Lose.
Sound complicated enough? It should. It's economy, after all...
But it sounds worse than it is.
Enjoy~
